I have a client that has had me sell their home and find them a new one about every three years. We are just now closing on the fifth house and they are moving out of State. As I told them last night they will miss Florida and will move back again. Many of my clients have done exactly that after a couple of years.

What was the nicest thing a customer every said to you?

After listing a home of a very irate client, people told me I would regret listing the home. We sold the home and the transaction went very well and he was very satisfied and he wrote a nice letter of recommendation. He had relocated in his career many times each time buying and selling another home and in some cases a Company as well. He was than retired and his wife had passed. I sold him a Condo in Cape Coral which according to him the sale went very well. Several years later he remarried and they wanted to purchase a home on a golf course. So I listed and sold the Condo and sold him a Golf course home. After that he wrote a letter of recommendation that stated he moved many times through out the years and not only dealt with dozens of Realtors but many sales people since he spent his working life in sales. He went on to say that I was the best he has had the honor of working with and “I did it right every time”. This coming from a sales expert and what I was told was a Irate person that I would regret working with seemed to be one of the nicest things I have heard from a Customer.

That is a great story Tony. many times the reason a customer appears irate to another person is because the customer was frustrated over the inability to address his/her specific needs. I believe that client worked well with you because you made it a point to find out what that client needed and then you found a way to provide it.

Do you speak any other languages?

 no

   Travel:

Where have you traveled in the past?

Through out the US and Caribbean.

If you had to move to another city anywhere in the nation, where would it be?

South West Florida is Paradise, so where ever it would be (maybe San Diego) my next move would be back here.

Why?

I relocated 5 times during my career with NCR Corp, Each major promotion was a relocation, so there was many Cities I visited and turned down. Always wanted Florida. So I am here to stay.

If you had to move to another city anywhere in the world, where would it be?

A island in the Caribbean..

Thank you Tony for taking the time to give your clients & future clients a little insight into your world.~
